I agree with you Genesis, IE and Windows Explorer are diffrent, but they do sorta act the same. Oh, and I use firefox, its the best browser I've used.  |

I am prity shure even tho it may not be the same exe file that IE and the file browser for windows XP share alot of the same code to the point that they are almost the same other then one has been tweaked for files and one for the web. That is if they are not the same exe excatly to being with..... |

iexplore.exe handles both. Notice how you can go from file view to internet just by typing a url in the address bar (this is the only thing that IE wins on in the war with Firefox). Also, if you have spyware toolbars, chances are they will be on both. |

I dunno... one is EXPLORE.exe, another is iexplore.exe, but explore.exe, I think is in all windows task managers, and if u end task it, ur start bar goes away for a while, and then it re executes. BUT if u type an URL in the windows explorer address bar, it will go to that site... and there's no difference between that and internet explorer. |

If you think that's cool, check out this: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/12/ Mouse gestures. By right clicking and dragging the mouse in different ways you can do different things with the browser, such as opening/closing tabs/windows, going forward and back and so on. Very useful. Also, you should install adblock and the filter set updater to never see an advertisement again. |

You know, "google" has actually become a verb in the English language: "to search for information about a specific person through the Google search engine" I suggest you try to "google" the term, "firefox", and see what comes up. I use firefox, I heard operas better and would probably agree if I tried it but I'm too lazy to do that lol, but I do use IE for web development since it is very widely used but things wont display correctly in IE unless you do a whole lotta extra work, so I make sure it works right in Ie then it works everywhere |

K-Meleon is the best web browser bar-none. It is 100% customizable, runs on the Gecko Engine, and it has all the features people love and adore about the other browsers into one. It is quick and minimalistic though. It is a available to everyone. Anyone can, in theory, use it. It just hasn't been ported yet(but it will be ported). Being multi-platform isn't even a real factor in being the best. Infact, being the best is a mere opinion of an individual or group. Let's say, hypothetically, that I have a 100% cure for any type of cancer. It only works on North Americans, but it will be made to work for others in the near future. Jjust because it only works for North Americans now, is there any better medication that works against cancer? Since the criteria is working against cancer, than no, there isn't. Making this particular medication the "best out there" against cancer, despite only being usable by North Americans. |
