heh well right now i have 79 bits anyone who beats it gets all my bits (and i am not planning on using them for anything soon ) of course, i tried my program with every 4x4x4 tic tac toe AI i could find on the net and i beat them all going first some of them are pretty good but mine is the best and also if you think you can make a good GUI for it (3d rotation, 2d view) you get co-ownership of the source. i hope its a good enough deal |

lol does stopping the ai from winning count |

well you can "stop" it by tieing (filling up all the squares), so sure. of course u have to play second. send me a screen shot if u do it(undoctored of course) |

hmm...hard, nice AI! I was beating the AI, then it froze, (maybe couldnt find a move?) and didnt restart, I waited like 8 mins....hmm, does this count as beating the AI? heh I play ed for nearly an hour trying to beat this AI, that is one AWESOMEly uber l33t AI you coded! |

I think a screenshot is required for any claim to that... |

I see, I was just "wondering", if it was considered beating it, heh. Plus, I could take a screenshot anytime, and say that that t he AI stopped, so I doubt it would matter too much. |

The unbeatable AI beat me in 23 moves, thats the highest number of moves I've gotten to. |

yeah, jack's AI checks what, 64 moves ahead? So it's not really surprising that it's unbeatable. |

it does freeze, although rarely. I have hardcoded a few cases to avoid freezing, but i guess i should put a time limit on the moves just so it stop thinking after 1sec. if you go first you can probably beat it by running the same copy of the program against itself. |

Lol...I doubt he would give the code for his AI away...then it would reveal t he dark arts of his program, which in actuality uses the "Turing Psychic Power" algorythm to read the users mind.....yeah thats right! |

umm u noe, the reason why it wins everytime is cuz its 4*4*4 not cuz its psychic... its impossible to win cuz there is a way of winning everytime |

What the hell is the game doing when it takes like 3 minutes to make a move? Is it like... uber-calculating like all the possibilities or something? I'm downloading steam (counterstrike 1.6) and it's been 30 mins... that's how long i've been trying to beat this frekin' thing. |

as I said, it checks something like 64 moves ahead of what you could do. Consider Bugz did it in Turing, and consider it checks all moves 64 steps afterward, I think it is pretty damn fast. |

azn, crono said there was some algorithm to gurantee a win in a 4*4*4 tictactoe game, why would u need to predict moves? |

dodge_tomahawk wrote: why would u need to predict moves?
because player can choose to go first and use the same algorythm (if there is such) to win |
Author: | Andy [ Sat Dec 13, 2003 5:26 pm ] |
Post subject: | |
its not unbeatable if you go first. run the program twice and make it win against each other. the first player will win |
