Oh, those aren't stick figures... those are diodes and resistors and LEDs... I *could* post links to the full pictures...

rizzix: I've always thought dark themes would be nice, but could never get over the contrast when your dark web browser loads a bright page.

I'd post my desktop, but it looks pretty bland and similar to others I've had before. Ubuntu's default Human theme, Abbey Road background.

Yea I know. Hence I switched firefox to the brushed metal theme.

I like the background for this one alot. The theme is aright (I think I messed up on the folder icons, would've been better with a bit more yellow to it) I guess.

Good job bringing this up, I almost forgot about it again. Coming soon: desktop screenshot.

And the desktop.

Not my clearest bit of photography, but it gets the point across (the tree, not my poor photography).

My new desktop... I decided to make it a little different then usual.

Dark, and a bit sinister.

** if the board made thumbs of images that would be sweet... or even a scrollable area around them. That way I could just post the image and not totally fubar the layout.

I dunno... the taskbar has a much more cluttered appearence then gnome's; and since it seems this is becoming less about just your background and more about the themes your using too... how about a window or two so we can see what they look like Razz

Windows went *Boink* (at times literally...). Needless to say I am pretty much fed up with windows now so I did the old switcheroonie and am now running linux. Gentoo 2005.1, running gnome. The dual monitor setup is interesting to say the least... I have hardware 3d on the left-most 2048 pixels only... very interesting Razz

Anyways, here's the screenie. Enjoy! Wink

Still no change to my linux theme. On the windows front, however, a cosmic upheaval hast taketh place. I never thought I'd live to see the day where I like the olive green theme for Windows XP. Each new day brings new surprises and hidden treasures, I guess.

What's that you're running in the top-right corner?

I'm not thinking that's going to be much of a problem.
