gedit and a command line work wonders... if only I could get gedit to run under windows

I need a C++ IDE for Linux with which to do my school programs at home. Does anyone have any suggestions? |

Anjuta if it's a Gnome environment, or KDevelop if it's a KDE environment. |

But do you need an IDE, really? What if you could get by with syntax highlighting and tabbed windows for the source file(s)? |
