I hope you are talking about legal downloads  . Why use bittorrent, there are much better methods of downloading things. Torrents you have to trust that a lot of people are seeding, and that's only if the file is new. |

http://www.isohunt.com/ They work with copyright holders if any infringment is brought up to their attention. Hasn't gotten a lawsuit so far. And the cool thing about IsoHUNT is that it indexes all other torrent sites and trackers and is up-to-the-minute. So it's pretty much a one-stop-shop. |

Tor is an anonymous 'onion-routing' network. Essentially, you can use it for any protocol so long as the app supports proxies. Pirate-Bay is alright. Don't use it much though. |

I was about to suggest pirate bay . Still, I would look into things like newsgroups, ftp sites, and things like that before going to BT. At least then you know you have a steady connection to the file. |

Eh, you need connections for that kinda sh*t. Hang around random warez channels in Undernet and be nice to people. You'll make a lot of useful friends. And get invited to a lot of private channels. That's where you get the good stuff.
But again, not everyone should do that. Especially if you don't like chatting with people to get your files. |

umm remember the old suprnova? well there is no a mininova.. visit www.mininova.org, it hosts alot of torrents, its new so you mite not be able to find some of the old stuff. what exactly are u looking for? warez? music? movies? tv? cuz each site specializes in one thing or another. |

My friend uses Mirc to get all his files but he wount like tell me were he gets his chanells and stuff and il try teh wares thing and im mostly looking for music videos and music for my friends site. www.contagioussounds.com I dont know if im aloud to post it or not if not please say so  oh and anime I dunno i watched like 3 episodes and I like it lol im not a big fan but fun to watch in my spare time. |

Yeah, IRC has an apparently MASSIVE illegal warez distribution network of hundreds of channels. Apparently, though, it's one of those thigns that's super-difficult to get into - probablygood for their security. Reminds me of some article about police busting into the back of some comptuer shop and confiscating a computer with a bunch of hard drives which basically sat in IRC and auto-dled stuff. :S |

Yeah, I have my sources... I keep hearing how people dl things on IRC, so I guess it's possible, but I guess they don't make it too easy since that could get them in all kinds of trouble. What do you precisely need? Maybe some help could be provided by someone somewhere that is not neccessarily anywhere here  . |
