I just thought I'd give you all a heads up, I heard on the news today of some huge virus going around, mainly through hotmail and kazaa. Just thought I'd let ya know |

we all get tonnes of viruses by downloading crap off of kazza and other file sharing systems... my dad got one cuz he got something for dos for the old lil 386 we got. and i took it downstairs so i could put it on a floppy and my mom's comp detected that it had 4 viruses in it... heh |

viurs tageting hotmail, eh. just to let you know kazaa is, itself a type of viurs. some version of kazaa install a promgae that whould let a compay uses your computer with out you knowing 
go for kazaa lite. the lite verison ushley dont have the take over progame. |

Really? I knew kazaa had viruses but I had no idea about that program you were talking about. I dont know tho I just figured if the virus made the news it was a pretty big deal, either that or they got nothing better to talk about. |

its no lie....kazaa uses your comp as a server for commercial sites that pay for the software you download...its in the end-user agreement....but since no one reads that shit...no one really knows about it....thats why you get ad-aware...my computer had about 0.1 gigs worth of phony software, bandwith leeches, and a few time-bomb viruses... |

yeah... as soon as I'm done with school I'm formating my computer. Its nice to format it once in a while, gets rid of all the unwanted stuff. oh, the cool thing about my Zone Alarm Pro firewall is that it blocks programs to act as a server  So basically kazaa cant act as a server unless I tell it to do so 8) |

actually, macafee just prompted me that there is a virus going round through p2p & hotmail, but that any good virus protector should find it... good thing i got NAV & NPF  . ugh... DAMN U BlueMountain.com( i just got about 4 e-mails from them)... FYI, if u get a message from BlueMountain.com it contains a virus :-S (or at least NAV tells me so). u know who i want to meet? download the program called Adaware.. also just to let u guys know that even kazaa lite has some stuff in it, it blocks some sites out! theres a file in ur comp called HOST find it |

yeah... Cuz resently I found out that when I run into 404 error I get farwarded to some search site... I'm preaty sure that came from kazaa. I dont use it myself (often), but my bro uses it as him MP3 player I am soo formating when I'm done with my projects. In a week from now actually. |

i whould not deltea that file if i where you, i think it only dealces what the ip of the locale host is and the ip / url of the sheach thing is for IE. if you could give more info about this, llike if the file has an extion, where is whould be on your hd and pwhat sites it bans or what the file has in it, it whould be helpfull. |
