What's your favourite audio player? For me it is Foobar2000 w/ the noise sharpening DSP http://www.foobar2000.org/ http://pelit.koillismaa.fi/plugins/redir.php?id=426 for the DSP plugin. |

iTunes, but of late I'm a Linux geek, so I'll say that Rhythmbox is pretty nifty. |

WinAmp Just get an old version, they are much, much better than the new ones IMO (same thing with WMP). I have version 3 or 4 or something and it works great! |

Both. I'd use it on Linux if there were a native port (no, I have no desire to deal with emulation just for a music player). |

WMP, but only because I'm too lazy to get anything else, and the media library kicks ass; on linux it's xmms+mplayer all the way |

Does anybody actually like xmms? I really like Rhythmbox, but Enlightenment DR17 is coming and I'm not sure if RB will work without Gnome running. |

XMMS users may wish to try the Beep Media Player. It's basically XMMS linked against GTK2.x rather than 1.x. |

I tried Beep, but I found that it lacked suck crutial features as "play this directory", dunno if it was just that I couldn't find it or what, or it might just have been my build. And yeah, I like xmms; it's small, fast, and does everythign i want (except it doesn't have a media library). |
