Post subject: | PSD -> HTML? |
I downloaded a basic template from http://www.templatesbox.com/templates, adn pretty much edited everything about it by modifying the PSD file. I moved some of the slices, changed text, changed, images, etc. My problem is that when I click save optimized for web, I get an HTML file, but the text has been turned into a picture. How do I export the PSD to HTML so that images are saved as jpegs, and text is saved into the HTML? |

What you're gonna have to do is save everything except the text using the "Save optimized..." option like you have been. Then you're going to have to change the content text slice from an image to the background image for the cell like so: Open the html file with any text editor.
becomes
Then paste the text you need displayed between
Save and it should be done. |

Hide the layer by click in the little eye icon beside it, then export the document, then follow the instructions I gave. If that fails, then delete the text layer (make sure you have a copy of it somewhere), and then follow the instructions. Keep in mind that the pixel values I gave are almost certainly not accurate, you're going to have to get those from the <img> tag which you're removing. |

I recommend using div layers. I'm not very good at it but it's basically like the background feature but it places the pic anywhere you want on the page. Then you can place the text ontop of it.
or something like that. sorry if my codes wrong |
