may i just say that every CNN employee is lower than dirt in the minds of most canadians ... and higher than gods in the minds of americans, therefore, all they are doing is confirming their rightful place in the universe by being fuckasses to the people who rarely listen to them and heresayers of the "truth" to those who adrore them.

I hate CNN and FOX(r) trusting Americans!

[EDIT] uum, does anyone notice that that was a fox broadcast? Thinking well, i have edited my comment to be all inclusive, like we canadians seem to be[/EDIT]

Would we want to? Definately.

The United States provides a number of things for us, namely protection. See, one of the interesting things about National Defense is that you can't exclude people who don't pay for the most part.

The US is like 'Hey, we want to build a missile shield, but it would make way more sense if we built it on your soil.'

So Canada says 'Go for it buddy, we've got tons of extra land'

So now the US is like 'You're going to help us pay for it right, since we are after all defending you as well?'

To which Canada responds 'No can do.'

Now, the US (in their minds at least) needs this missile defense shield, and there's nothing that they can do to force Canada to pay for it, and, by default, they are forced to protect Canada with it.

I can totally see them being pissed off. Tough luck though buddies Wink

And as for taking Canada over: don't make us burn the White House down again.

They have some quotes on the media matters website, and there's a complete transcript of Parrish's interview on her website.

I saw this a while ago and I also thought it looked like they were joking. Tucker was just joking for sure. And I assume Parrish wasn't serious about "the US needs Canada more".

Post subject:

The point is not if they were joking or not, its that you dont go on national television and denounce your closest frikin neighbour ... no matter how weak they are (we need them ... sort of and they need us!) ... they never said "its all in good fun" , because if it were, they would not go apeshit when a canadian says something resembling the truth about their almighty leader! ... like shit, they should get over it and not spit things like "Canada is just a bunch of dogsledders ... oh well, alot of them are!" ... c'mon isnt Tucker s'possed to be an intelligent guy? oh thats right in America everythings backwards from the rest of the world ... ignorance is the new intelligence! and all this time we seekers of higher knowledge are following the path to destruction!

(Well, that last part was a little over the top)

I have nothing against the US. It's just that women thinks shes such a great American and how Canada sucks. No wonder women didn't have a right to vote for so many centuries.
