Pokemon are not bad, i aucatly liked the 1st few games. The conscept is intresting and very origanl. |

My main problem with the games would be that in order to beat the game (that is to say, in order to "Catch 'em all") you HAD to trade with your friends. Something like, Scyther being in Pokemon Red only, and Electabuzz or something was only in Blue. So you aren't actually capturing them. Or you are, and they're just forcing you to buy both games. Sacrificing gameplay for being whores? *tsk* What would Miyamoto say? |

Nintendo seemed to like that marketing idea, since they released something like 6 more pairs of games. Now I don't know this for sure (don't play the thing), but I have this hunch that games offer backwards capability. Meaning to capture them all (and there're a lot of purmutations of legs, tails and other limbs) one would actually have to locate someone who still plays say last year's game to trade with.  |
