Great work. All those posts in the Help forum have seemed to paid off for you.

Have these:
+ bits.

BTW: after playing around w/ it for a bit, I found that the spaceship's right wing became somewhat extended...stretched one might say...

im not sure but i think he dosent have music bc it would prob lag the prog out huge

Post subject:

O yes the Mp3 files with the music will lag i forgot all about that. well if the source code was there i would put it in my self to see. very great the cubs need to be a diferent color to make it stand out more and give it more tast. A high score table would also be neat. Twisted Evil

If you notice the title says "incomplete" that means I'm not done it. Thats y there is no music lots of bugs and it doesn't look great. I would love to make a better 3d game but the computers at my school are to crappy to support even that one so I think I'm going to have to go with my good old zelda clone. I should ask my compsci teacher is he'll take marks off for super lag but maybe some day I might get around to fixin up this one. I Still want to add enimys that shoot you and your ability to shoot and a boss fight. Someday... well thanx for all the feed back.

i could swear that's my airplane model! and tell me which 3d engine you're using so i can help you have it speed up.

Nice Work! I'm impressed...
Suggestions: Option to invert the 'Y' axis control, remove the wireframe rendering and go with shading - and lose the starry stuff in the background; that's probably adding to any lag you might have

yah Homer_simpson that might be your model. I found it on my computer and since I have been downloading all kinds of 3d crap from compsci so it most likly is yours I dunno its a nice one, I know I didn't make it. As to what engine I'm useing... I'll post the sorce. I would greatly apreaciate it if you could help me speed it up.

I think catalys's engine, I'm not gonna read all his source and tell you what to change... but i think you could cut down on stars, lower the number of polygons per frame, remore the wireframe. use a diffrent method of z-sorting. bring down maxpoly, etc...

I'm not going to do it in C beacue I'm doing turing in class and I wanted to do it for my final project. It probably won't be done for a while becaue it lags to much for me to submit it as a project. So don't hold your breath. Also I think that the plane modle is laging it up a little so I might make a new one witch will look realy crappy be anyways any help on making it go fast would be great.
