Is it necessary to have: Quote: Limited knowledge of Visual Basic. |

Post subject: | |
It's suprising. Everyone requires Visual Basic. So I put that I have limited knowledge of it. In other words, I can click and drag. |

Couldn't you word it differently though. Like "Experience with VB." Not really specifying what your experience level is. It's not saying that you're good, but then again, it's not saying that you're bad. When you use the word "Limited" it makes you sound unkowledgeable. And nobody wants to hire unkowledgeable people. ![]() |

I helped build is a very general term. 60 000 is a rough estimate. And if you look at the SWAT picture, I'm on it ![]() |

Make a math section and I promise you a tutorial a week. I'll make some Java tutorials, once I learn Java. |

Quote: To be one of the most productive co-op students that your company has ever hired.
You mean "student"? Aside from the slight spelling mistake... Er, that seems to be a little... extravagant? "To be as productive a co-op student as possible" perhaps? You could re-word it differently; you know what I mean. |

I think I like the way he has it better. He's not saying that he wants to be the best, so it's not like he's making really big claims that are impossible to live up to. And "as best as possible", IMHO, sounds less ambitious. |

1. Objective. Sounds cocky/unrealistic. Talk about making a contibution to their company. It is common to change your objective based on the company you are aplying to. 2. Everyone else was right. "Limited Knowledge" is weak. Working knowledge, Experience, Fundamental ... 3. In depth ... hmm ... Extensive knowledge of C++ ... 4. Is volunteer service a skill ??? 5. I'm not sure that I would include actual classes taken. 6. I would drop the space before your point form list for your work experience. 7. Maintained the school's Local Area Network. If the person is only skimming (happens far to often) it's obvious which school. 8. Volunteer Activities. Winter Art in the Park Underprivileged Children's Christmas Party If your not from Windsor you'll have no clue about these. 9. Designed and assembled computers for friends from componants ordered over the internet. for friends - ??? doesn't sit right with me. Maybe just say how many componants -> components |

Thanks for the advice. As for the objective, I put it in there as a joke, and then I couldn't think of anything better to put. |
