ok, I have had to do something for the massey web page, and have created a science splash page (attached). It is a small file, and I want to know if anyone with a massey-like computer experiences any slowdowns. also, any criticism is welcome. -Z this is my first experiment with actionscript, and this is based off of an actionscript.org tutorial. |

Well it looks kewl. But it lagged out my music ^o) ... though everything else ran fine... but ya looks nice... I've seen similar on kirupa.com... but nice eitherway |

It looks good, but you've gotta figure out how to make it more efficient. Lags my computer big time. |

I can post a copy of the .fla on the site (built with mx 2004, but will post a mx version) I'm not sure how to make it more efficient. its probably the alpha overlaps or size of the movie. because its all vector, i can scale it down... also, for smoothness I needed a high frame rate (36 fps!) -Z |
