When I was trying to come up with an original online-handle, I would type all the names that I wanted in google. if they returned no results, you could be assured that the name is unique. And I've found something very neat, if you use the same handle all over the internet, and are a very active internet user, you can backtrack everything that you've done in the internet for as long as you can remember.

If you type: "templest", in google, you'll find that about %80 - %95 of everything in the results is directly related to me. Smile Everything on the first results page except for that HongKong stuff is by me. And CompSci.ca is the last link on that page! Wink

And there are about 317 hits. Very Happy , The very first hit are my audio submissions in newgrounds. Laughing

And if you type: "xiplst", everything on the results is mine, you'll get about 7 hits. CompSci.ca is also here because of my sig that says "xiplst.ath.cx", compsci is the 3rd link, if I recall correctly.

Just for shits I typed: Amailer, and got: 3,300 hits. Most of them I know are Amailer's because they all have to do with PHP, programming, or graphics. Very Happy

I just thought it was something neat that people should know. Wink

EDIT: When I first started using the handles "templest" and "xiplst" google gave me no search results. Smile

if u searched for 4 basic starcraft terms.... my Starcraft page is one the first page of results... or was for a long time...\

now i dont know....
i tink it was something like .... starcraft broodwar maps download or something and i was on the first page.... meh i forget now.... either way i had a lot of hits b4.... like 20 a day for like a week... then it droped... meh....



when the second biggest skatepark in canada didn;lt exist ( they planed for 3 years but were waiting for funds...)... i searched for the skatepark picture... and it wasn't on the net..


then i added it to my site..

if u searched for the kamloops BC skatepark like 20 sites link to my site for the picture.. Smile (text link) (well used to be a lot more... now better sites link it too...)

kamloops has really grown.... it was not on the net much b4... now its REALLY popular... with the fire... skatyeparjk... its jsut a great place to liove...
