get a motomaster eliminator (makes ur cigarete lighter into household outlet.... so u can plug it in.... wireless usb keyboard... wirelessusb mouse.. man... i seriously am going crzy... anyone find the price? DAM... |

seems kind of weak on the cpu to me and on the ram.....and the netwrok card....and the video card...and the sound card....and the usb... The stats seem a bit out of date when compaered to the new computers and laptops out there. And alougth the size is cool when u facter in that u still need a screen, mouse and keyborad a laptop whould be about the same size or smaller and porbly way about the same. I did not see a price on it but if it is over $4000 range it whould be better to get a laptop. |

umm... dan... did u see the p3 moels? cuz the newer oens are all p4 ( i saw one with 3.2 GHZ and 512 MB Ram....) and that one could have 1gig.. yea.. labtop is not good for cars.... homeentertainment systems... etc.. (see its uses that they list) |

yea.. but a labtop is not a desktop computer! these little babys can fit in the DASH of a car! (like where u put a steroe) and hook up a little monitor to it.. like the ones that flap down in minivans ! mouse and keyboard can be wireless.. ... who needs to upgrade.... those PC's are so dam good to begin with! the pent 4 models are insane! 3.2 GHZ, 1gig ram, dvd RW + CD RW combo, 200 GIG HDl... its like DAM! (well i dont know exact... but i think that was one of the models..) smalles desktop computer! |

mine is to , PC world says so , no really it got 3rd under hte desktop replacement computer contest , and mine can sit anythere in the car with no wires no hasle and i can wifi it to my stereo BAM |

NOT VIDEO GAMES! WINAMP MUSIK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! u can have a power 2 go bar under the dash to power it.. small optical wireless mouse hooked up.. bam.... have a little board between the two front seats to use as mousepad.... well u can use video games when u parked... but thats not the point.. and u can hook internet to cell phone for internet... or maybe their are other ways.... main point is.. being able to put in where steroe goes... srry i love winamp radio! and havingt that in a car would RIP..... no more CD's.. no more crappy reception and limited stations with all those ads.... and talk.... no more crappy musik.... and better yet... it doubles as a mp3 steroe ! and dvd player good point dan.... |

Well... why don't you just get a cd player for your car? Or go cheap and grab a personal cd player and get an adapter that allows you to play the cd from a tape which I assume you would have if you don't have a cd player. Or get a digital radio receiver. Can't be more expensive than buying a computer just to listen to music. |

its much safer fthen fumbling for dam cd's!!!!!!!!!!! or dam tapes.... <who uses tapes
no more scratch ing and dirtying CD's.. or skipping CD's...(cuz on bumpy road or and dirt roads for dust.. ) u can use the keyboard..... press CTRL + ALT + page down and page up to alternate the tracks in winamp... its called global hotkeys....(if u turn them on) u can be anywhere (having winamp minnimized to system tray) and if u push those buttons it changes track... also the up down arrows + ctrl+ alt changes volume.... so... its safer.. |

i would have a steroe right on top of the computer.. and id hook them up.. and hook all taht up to a amp.. then some subs.... yea.. satelight radio u mean? still SUCKS... .. i like my playlist for winamp radio.. got so many stations.... www.hot108.com << GOOD STUFF!!!!! anyways... back to the computer... no mazer i dont think u can add anything to it.. .except chnage the dvd drive... or HD... and the ram are weird... their ultra tiny... but u can upgrade that.. they pack the slots with half the max ram... (read the page... it said like.,.. 512MB ram, 1GIG max... my gues... 2 256 mb sims.... but u can use 512 MB sims if u want... sims is the rite word rite? AH HAHAH |

so... its safer.. How many hands to you use to reach over and press CTRL + ALT + page down? And it's still a waste of money to be installing a computer in a car just for winamp. |

no doubt i would use it to watch dvd's when camping.... and ppl in the back or passenger side can use it for their purposes.... internet...msn or w/e.... dam that woulda been nice to have on trip across canada.. well especially for going across manitoba and saskatcewan... nothign good to look at there jk.. but being able to talk on MSN while on a trip would be cool! |

I still think a laptop whould work just as good in this situation and you could take it out of the car 
Also when poleop put computers in there car the ushely go with a full sized pc (if not bigger) and put it in the back of the car and just have the contrls and dispaly for it in the front. So idk how usfull that kind of comp whould be over a normal one in a car ether. Also using msn whould cost a tone of money if u doing throw a cell phone, not to mention the romoing costs you whould get in to. |

when i moved across canada from BC to ONT.... yea.. having to run those cables would be expensive and lots of work... not to mention if one gets damedged its harder to locate.... w/e.... still be awed at the smallest desktop (without a monito0r atached to it)!!!! and it is cool for its size... o.. and also the CD drive wou8ld be useles in the back .... and also then it would take up lots of space in ur trunk / hatch or w/e...!!!!!! tru going thru cellphone would be expensive..did't say it would be cheap./. is their other ways to get wireless internet on the road?? satelite? |

Althougth cell phone whould have longer conection wifi whould be faster till u get out of rage. |
