hey all... for my forum i have this posted on it... so ppl can know if my webserver is online or not.. simple... display a picture... <thats on server.. and have alternate text be OFFLINE.. heres da code! NOTE: works best in firefox..... cuz firefox acually SHOWS the alternative text where the picture is,,,, in IE it shows a blank box and if u move mouse onto it then it shows the alternative text... <b>STATUS: </b><b><font color="CC0033"><img src="http://uploads.homeftp.net/pub/online.gif" alt="Offline"</img></font></b> ik turned off BBCode and HTML cuz it wasn't working properly.. ok.... download the online.gif file onto ur host and put the link there.... it will say online..... now remove the file from host.. and refresh page with his html code... and it should say Offline in RED... note: the online.gif picture is in GREEN... If you want a preview.. go to http://www.s7.invisionfree.com/kevins_forumz4all/ and look in the top of the webpage... i placed it there! and it looks GOOD... |
