my comp has beomce quite laggy lately... anybody know a good and effective program that'll optimize my comp's performance? ny help will be greatly appreciated |

have that, also have ad-aware, also have norton 2004, also have avg also have zone alarm, also have tuneup utilities... its weird.. ever since i converted my drive from FAT32 to NTFS with partion magic, my pc's startup have been really slow... |

norton and avg don't work well togeather.. it makes the system slow down.. atleast for me it did |

you should format when you convert file systems, windows is really picky about things like that, although it could be norton and avg hogging something together |

yeh.. i uninstalled avg.. and its a bit better now.. but startup is still kinda slow |

Backup, format, and then protect yourself. Get a firewall right off the bat. Also, check my essential list and get the PageDefrag program. |

Meh my start up is hell slow, when i start windows it takes like 5 - 7 mins to just load the login page and i have no clue why.. I don't even have norton and avg |
