I'm trying to write a program that draws outlines around something(a picutre). for example, you have a coloured person, you run the program and get a outline of the person. I got this far and i'm not sure that is the desired result. Post any opinions and suggestion for me to improve it, before May 14th. Thanks. |

btw:- I set the sensitivity to a bit above low, coz everything went black when i set it to high(obviously) |

Beautiful. Just beautiful. Love the explorer. It looks and feels really good. (One suggestion though, sort the names of the folders etc/files, so that they are easier to look at.) + bits ydj. |

Thanks for the bits! it feels good. But does the program make sense? Did you expect the result to be like it was produced? |

Yes, the picture makes sense. Comments: - Have some sort of instructions before the Browse module loads, otherwise people will be clicking and nothing will happen. - In the browsing, if one double clicks on a picture, it will be selelcted, but then 'Select' has to be clicked for it to be rendered. Also, a single click then a click on 'Select' does not render it...this may not be your fault, just Turing's GUI. Worth looking at. - Don't save your output files as JPG. I mean, what is the use if Turing can't even incorporate JPG compression!? A picture in BMP at 826 kB, saved by Turing as JPG is 826 kB (832 on disk). So, what's the point! At least w/ BMP, they know that it's going to be fairly big. - Your final screen after saving could use a bit of touching up. |

Thanks! Sorry, Delos, Select should be clicked. Module structure won't permit it. I changed the filetype to BMP. Added a sensitivity bar to adjust the obvious. the max is 90 % and min is 1 % coz, beyond that the program doesn't make sense. Optimal level is 16, which is automatic. Uploaded the new version. |
