It is encouraged to read the following before jumping into the deep end: During my gr.10 Comp Sci course, I made a game similar to Terraria, so I named it "Vetus Terraria" (Vetus is old in latin) This Knock-off Version includes: -A Player -A Randomly Generated Map -Structures (Caves, Trees, Water, Ores) -Tools (Pickaxes and Shovels so far..) -Crafting Recipes (No Crafting Table however) -Block Shading (Like water, it is based on Cell Automata) -Zooming in/out (still a little wonky) For now, there are no mobs, no weapons and no complicated animation (Including holding your tools) However, You can drown, Place Torches, and find cool caves. Controls: . -In Game- Mouse Left: Hold to Break Block Mouse Right: Place Block WSAD or Arrow Keys or Space: Movements Controls I : Zoom Out (If your computer can handle it) k : Zoom In (Reduces Lag) . -Inventory- Mouse Left: Pick Up/Drop Stacks Mouse Right: Drop 1 item in an Empty Slot Mouse Center: Accept Crafted Items Overall, this was a great project, it could've been coded more efficiently if I had the time. All in all, Enjoy! (Main .t File is an application) Code is open for constructive criticism. |

Unfortunately, it crashes at the start of the game just before the player collides with the ground, but the first three seconds of the game look fantastic! |

It probably crashed because of the sound, replace the "Vetus Terraria" Application with this one: But the sound will be off. |

You need to include all your resources used, not just the compiled program. |

Nicely rendered environment. I like the way the shadows auto shade them selves under the blocks. I feel like the timings should all be shorter though. The whole thing felt a bit on the slow and sluggish side. I would have built myself a house, if i didn't have to wait 8 seconds to break a single block. Overall, still quite impressed with it. Looks great! |
