i thought that this thread would be deserving of such an amazing title, so i made it so. this is for your favourite books (those things with a cover and little words that exist in the material world, much like those things that exist on a computer screen). my favourite books/books i respect: 1984 - george orwell animal farm - " brave new world - aldous huxley to kill a mockingbird - harper lee dracula - bram stoker lotr - tolkien harry potter (yeahhhhhhh) - rowling the gentle spirit - some eastern european/russian guy the pearl - i forget (steinbeck maybe) of mice and men - steinbeck the catcher in the rye - salinger franny and zooey - salinger nine stories - salinger some sociology books from my dad - ? hannibal - ? (the book about that carthaginian who almost conquered rome) the russian revolution - ? mein kampf - hitler, duh (kindof interesting, im not anti-semitic) the communist manifesto - marx/engels (also kindof interesting, but hard to understand for me) i will add some more when i remember them or come across them. i read a lot and i recommend all these books to you. post your favourite books do the poll too |
