Ok I have stolen rizzix's idea for asking users to post thoughts on what they would like to see in a flash tutorial. So if you want to see a tutorial on something post here, and I'm sure me and the other flash users will try and do our best to fit your needs  |

ah, now that makes more sence with that edit. Well first off all, I SUGGEST dan/tony get working on a flash/ps tutorial site for compsci. Secondly, could you make a tutorial on some of the basic action scripts and how to use them.....? thanks. |

Uh... how to make a stick man walk? No, thats too complicated for me, how about jumping jacks? Is there anyway you can draw stuff directly onto flash? If I can, then I could just mess with the frames right? |

lol ya making a stick man walk is quite simple... I could do that for you.... umm but ya you can draw right in flash... go frame by frame just editing the frame a lil each time |

Ok here is whats planned to come as far as tutorials so far... these will hopefully appear within the next month or so... once I'm less busy :S ActionScript Functions Movie Control Looping If/Case Statements Adding a Delay Mouse Handler Keyboard Handler These are just a few examples of future tutorials... please any more ideas/suggestions are welcome anytime.... |

Maybe Delta should first do a tutorial on doing tutorials, or else it would be like your last tutorial. |

what is action script, I went to the univesity of waterloo and they didnt teach action script only design using the tools already built in |

AS (action script) is like a programming language for flash. Anyway I can help make tutorials if needed. |

I'm going to make a tutorial soon on one of the hardest things to do in flash. Making a graphical preloader to preload one or multiple external swfs or pictures. Took me forever to find the right resources to put together exactly what I wanted for my site so I'll make sure everyone here gets that upper hand.
