I'm going to start a game where you have to write one description about yourself like:
'my favorite colour is black', or something like
my 'favorite tv show is The Simpsons' or 'my
favorite pet is a tarantula' and incrip it somehow
into the text you write but the text should not even relate to your one description. I hope you can this could turn out to be
fun, then we could expand on it and try
to create variations of this game... heh, this is really difficult, ok I give up *

No, I didn't make this one up, I got it from a book I've read. I'm not expecting anybody to get it completely because there are a few names in there and a bunch of words you wouldn't recognize if you haven't read the book. I'm just curious because I can't remember what I thought of it the first time I read it and I want to know what others will think. Again, I know it won't be much because you won't likely understand what the point is. Maybe I'll give you a few names and facts later, but try it.

I don't know... I like both books alot, but I've read all of Bean's books, and only Ender's game. I read Ender's Game first, then noticed Ender's Shadow at the library and picked it up... then I got Shadow of the Hegemon and Shadow Puppets for Christmas and they were freaking amazing. Still, I'd like to go back and read Speaker for the Dead and Xenocide sometime.

Anyways... anybody gonna take a crack at the message?

I've read all of them, speaker for the dead and xenocide arn't as good as those 4 you mentioned, they all take place in the far far future, where you can't even recongize anything earthly, humans, buggers, intelligent tree ppl "peacefully" co-exist. There's none of the real excitement in the 4 that take place b4 though. You get to read about ender's death, and also they discover a new intelligent lifeform that is virus based, and sends viruses as a mean of communication...

Have you tried making any encryption programs? Here's my idea for a coding algorithm.

For example, let's code the sentence "Stop spamming the thread"

1. Check how many words in sentence
2. Separate them (however you want)
3. Check the next word, and see how many characters there are in it
4. Randomly change the ASCII value of each letter in the current word up or down by the number of characters in the word ahead of it ("thread" would check "Stop")

Easy to make in Turing, just have a file for the encoded message and have one for the decode, where it outputs to.
