So, a few months ago, I finally got my CS AP exam score back. I did pretty well, I guess, but now I'm at a point where I'm trying to find out what I can actually do with it. Wanted to hear from you guys, your experiences, and what benefits having done an AP CS Exam actually had for you |

What are you doing to further your understanding of computer science? |

I'm currently doing a computer engineering course in my high school (I figured that a larger understanding of hardware and networks, such as the course is covering, would help me better understand software and to be able to write better programs). I'm also going to take ICS4U next semester, and am planning on participating on math/compsci contests (and fail miserably at them :3) |

You're so lucky that your school actually cares about CS... to have an AP exam for it. Let alone AP. My school has the course but no one really understands what CS is |

My school didn't have an AP course, it just offered the AP exam if you talked to the Resource teacher. |

Haha you're all lucky, my school doesn't even have CS in it. The highest up our classes went was Microsoft Word. Even now in my vocational school we only have Networking (brilliant class). Moral of the Story: Teach yourself. I don't know a single person in my life that can program. |
