Hi everyone. Ever since I got my new laptop that actually has a decent graphics card, I've been interested in it's power. I want to tinker with it and see what I can do. I have found some tutorials on HLSL, but I haven't been able to find anything on a topic that really interests me, general purpose processing using the GPU. I know how to do a great number of things on the graphics card, but I don't know how to (or if it's even possible to) do if statements, or loops or gotos or anything that might be of use doing regular processing. I know a workaround if there isn't any if statements
but that is pretty ugly, and I'm pretty sure there is a better way. Does anybody know of any tutorials on general processing for a GPU, or even just a tutorial that covers control statements. |
