u'll like this one, i found out all by myself yesterday...anyways: go in the C drive (if u do not have access to it then go in another drive and right click and click new then click shortcut, then type "C:\" then click ok, then click ok again, now go to the "windows" folder and open a file called "poledit" (or maybe its poleditor i forget) then go file, new, and 2 blue things will be there called like default computer and default user (or somthin like that) go in each one one after the other and UNCHECK all the options in the subfolders when ur done making ur policy click save an save it as "ratings.pol" under either D drive or ur personal drive (i forget which one wont let u) then exit the policy editor and u should still have that "my computer" window open (windows explorer) go in the "system" folder thats in the "windows" folder, then open a new windows explorer or my computer or w/e and go to where u saved ur ratings.pol file. now right click down and hold and drag the file to the "system" folder and make sure the option u select is "move" so it replaces the normal ratings.pol, when the window pops up that says "would u like to replace this with this?" click "yes" now restart your computer and have some fun with ur new found priveledges if this did now work tell me but it should cuz it worked for me I believe that deserves some bits P.S.- www.kmint21.com is a good site to get programs like windows hider pro and keyloogers from now that u have the priveleges....see ya laaaaaaaaaay |

if poledit is on the hard driver of your schools comps, your admin should be slaped!. poledit is not installed with windows by defualt and should not be on a non-netwrok drive. for more info on poledit go here http://www.zisman.ca/poledit/ you can also download thess apps form that site. |

what do you mean by "surfcontrol" ? is it an app or do you mean how you get pages that come up as banded? if it is the seconed it is ushley froum a porxy all the net trafick is being roted thougth witch could be tured off in the IE setings. if it is not that, ushley you can get pased baned pages by using a web page transalter site and transing the page, that way the info gose thougth the other web site and not school comp (some times ![]() |

What you mean like downloading and being able to go to whatever site you want? If so go to help, contents and index, options, and then internet options. You can do all the security options and cookies and all that from there. If not then I have no idea. |

do you know how to become an admin on winxp on school computers? |

that has alot to do with how the netwrok is set up, if the adim is like a l33t seruity guy then you probly cant do it short of stealing his pass. alougth there are almost all ways seruity holes in windows netwroks, so if you keep just looking around in the netwrok you may find somting intrestng. |

My school has a good setup network...but im too much of a worm. Here a few ways to bypass into files... Everyones Login On my network..there is a file called "Desk Tools" which contains shortcuts to programs like Photoshop, Turing, Adobe Landscape, etc. Well, go into that, press the "UP" button and voila, all the users files are displayed. Getting Into C:\ Drive Open MSPaint, click "File, Open"...then type "C:\". This opens the c:\ drive. Now hold the right click over "Program Files", drag to your desktop, and let go, then click "Create Shortcut Here". You now have access to the C:\ drive. Deleting Users Go into Windows from the program files shortcut, open up MSDos. For this, you must know where every ones login is. For my school, its this command: C:\> cd \\WESTSIDE_cfs\ then type: C:\> del username This will delete that user from the network, muaha Disabling Monitoring Programs In my school, in Program Files there is a directory called "LANSchool"...lol, pretty obvious. Well, in there, there is a green box that says "Student"..delete that, and Administrators cannot watch your computer, and can't display things on your computer. Hiding Files In my school, Administrators can only access Files like your login name on the [H:\] (users) hard drive, and My documents directories. Just put files in the "Accessories" Folder, and the Administrators cannot see into it. Accessing Exams, and Marks This is also pretty easy...open up MMTask, (Task Scheduling Program), click "New", click "Browse", type "F:\", and right click a directory, drag and create shortcut on desktop. Inside the F:\ drive are files like "ExamView, MarkBook", etc. Enjoy USE THIS INFORMATION WITH EXTREME CAUTION! IF YOU ARE CAUGHT DOING THIS, YOU CAN AND MOST LIKELY WILL BE BANNED FROM ALL COMPUTER COURSES IN THE SCHOOL, AND POSSIBLY SUSPENDED OR EXPELLED!!! I AM IN NO WAY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS TO YOU IF YOU USE THIS INFORMATION. IF YOUR READING THIS, YOU UNDERSTAND!! Really sorry for the caps...but I got caught doing this a couple times...but the programming/engineering teachers trust me enough not to do any harm, so I was let go with a severe warning. Lol, I was once called down to the office, because a teacher watched my file, and saw like 30 system folders inside it...hehe. But I didnt get in trouble because I told him how I accessed a couple of them. ![]() Now this deserves bits! ![]() USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!! |

Although you have the right to take my bits, I would greatly appreciate if you didnt. Also I would apreciate it if you could give me my bits back, thank you very much. |

My school uses stupid anoying school vista (made by IMB). And the only place you can remove the user accounts is by going to the school board (thats where the main servers are). Sad. |

my shcool has that net vista stuff too, it is more scure then most avg school networks when set up right but i have found flaws: 1. you can make shortcuts to netwrok drives to uses almost any app (mark book and lanschool are ushely more seruce) 2. " " to see all class folders 3. " " to see all user names 4. if you cnasle when the netwrok stuff is loading at the right time you get all the apps on your desktop but markbook, ect and can mess with IE setings 5. you can edit the resitry by puting the keys you whont to chage in to a .reg file with the reight formating then runing it 6. if your school has an old verson of lanschool and you have an old demo verson of lanschool you can uses it to mess with all the comps (not true in new version of lanschool) LANSCHOOL WARING: antything you do in lanschool is reocred in YOUR resitry and the resitry on the computer you are doing it to. that means if you are not smart they will find you out! |

well actually i have gotten admin right before, it's kinda trick, yet simple, and not very dependable it's like this: you go to login like yo do normaly but disconnect the ethernet cable connected to the ethernet card at the back of your computer, your comp should say something like profile not found and then let you create it after that plug it back in with your newly created profile and when ur in u have admin rights, iv'e tried it it works and many ppl inmy school know how to do it, im not 100000% sure i explained it right as i have only done it once but try it uself, oh and don't break anything, also i shouldn't have to tell you lol not to get caught but i will anyway, dont get caught! lol |
