I'm looking to get ideas for a project I can submit into my local science fair. The kinds of projects that usually do well are ones that are related to the environment or have possible real world applications. Simulations are always good. Hopefully someone can help me out with this. |

If you are wanting programming ideas there's a thread here with some:
(although in the Turing section it can be applied to any language) Or if you are referring to physical projects I'd probably check out:

Yes, it will be a programming project. It seems like most of those ideas are for games. Any ideas for non-game programming projects? |

I have non myself, hopefully someone here does. I'd also ask friends and family if I were you -- although they may not understand programming they may just have a cool idea, or even say something to spark an idea of your own. |
