Computer Science Canada Incredible Low Claculus Mark |

So, I just found out my marks today and my Calculus and Vectors marked dropped to an 83%. Now, I am very keen in mathematics, and I thought I had a good grasp of the understanding. All(excluding calculus MCV4U) are above 90 or close to 90. Now, this is a big deal for me since I never got a mark this low in ANY math class. I am now going into Computer Science UWaterloo, where my MCV4U is one of the important (only important course IMO ) that I will be taking into Comp Sci. Now, Should I have accepted Computer Engineering at Waterloo instead? Where computer engineering not only utilizes mathematics but science too. Also, my TEJ4M is a 94 and my ICS4U is a 91(maybe, i should have trusted my marks and picked the right program where the recommended courses were at the highest?) |

Relax, you'll be fine. If anything, let this encourage you to focus on your Calculus in the first two years of CS at UW, which is the downfall of a lot of students, myself included. Your high school marks will be forgotten soon enough. I know 7% seems like a fair bit right at the moment but in about two years you'll realise that's nothing at all. |
