I have had a SONY WEGA Projection TV (Model Number: K-E42A10) for about 4 years now. I recently noticed that the TV would automatically restart after only a few minutes of usage. I have tried many ways to fix this problem with little success. Would anyone have any idea on what the problem may be and possible solutions? Thanks... |

Does the power light blink when it goes off before eventually turning back on? It looks like their a bulb in this thing, how my hours have you used it for? |

If the bulb is old, it may be overheating, forcing a restart. Try a swap test with a known good bulb if possible. |

I contacted Sony support and they recommended getting a new lamp...so I guess we'll find out when it arrives. Thanks for the help. |
