Can't really say "should have more features" when we haven't even seen the software side of things. I liked the fact that the phone was "remotely" disabled, pretty sick. |

I wonder what would happen if this guy had illegal movies and stuff on his hard drives. Would he get in trouble for that? After all, that's not why his house was raided. |

I would agree... Perhaps Apple had this done on purpose to generate public interest in a device which hasn't even been officially declared yet. And then they started the "stealing" drama to look innocent... |

I thank you for the compliment, but no. My superior intellect was being spent on more important matters. Which I can't seem to recall now. |

I liked how the old iPhone felt in your hand, it was comfortable. So I hope this new one retains that comfortable feeling. |

Maybe because of the difference in shape... |

It looks thinner (almost like my crappy Samsung Instinct) and less comfortable to hold. |

I find it sad that company's think they have to do this... This topic or the article linked? I myself thought that the Gizmodo drama was just a way to increase public interest in the iPhone 4G. Did you hear about Youtube removing all subtitle-dubs (subdubs?) of that clip? Apparently the Germans don't like it too much. |

I saw that they removed it altogether (apparently some copyright issue). |

Technically it's named iPhone 4, not 4G... But it all depends on whether you're taking g for generation or 4g for the network... |

LOL, when the iPhone was released, Apple was sued by Cisco for copyright infringement (they had a home phone with the name). Recently, Apple changed the name iPhone OS to iPhone iOS or simply iOS... and guess whose copyright they infringed this time. ![]() |

Post subject: | RE:iPhone 4G? |
Trademark copyright infringement is a joke. Damn near every non-silly name has been taken. In order to come up with a unique name you'd have to use a ridiculous combination of numbers and prefixes and symbols. Anything prefixed with a small 'i' should be automatically trademarked to Apple, that's all anyone associates it with anyway. |

Off topic now, but even worse is the crap the useless Monster cable brand does... If you look on wikipedia theres a list of people they've sued for using monster in their name including tv show Monster Garage... Trademarking such common names is just a joke =__=... |

I don't have one, but I know lot's of people who do, and they all like it. I voted for it should have more features, mostly because it doesn't have a radio (to my knowledge), and I am tired of apple putting out iPods without radios, seemingly for no reason other than the personal tastes of Steve Jobs and his believe that the consumer will always want what he makes, no matter what. Though this believe may not be totally unfounded, considering the unwavering devotion of some apple fanbois, I still believe that apple should finally getting around to adding that radio (and several other features I am a little sore over the absence of). I have heard rumors of a radio, but no substantial evidence as of yet. OK, done my rant. |

Bear in mind, the iPod is, in fact, a DM (digital music) player. The iPhone is, in fact, a cell phone. Android and Windows phones do not, to my knowledge, have radios in them. Very few DM players have radios. Hell, there used to be a tuner you could plug into the iPod Classic, dunno if it's compatible with Touches or still available for Classics. I, for one, think the Touch has too much functionality. I don't need 99% of the millions (has it reached millions yet?) of apps available, mostly because they're mindbogglingly menial and useless. |

Wow, I'm rather shocked they haven't gone after Monster energy drink. And the fact they attacked a nickname. Talk about paranoia. |
