Well I decided to go on compsci.ca after like the longest time today since I've been really busy with other things. And recently I got into making videos and posting them on Youtube. So I was just wondering how often do you guys watch Youtube? I myself watch videos on there frequent times a day. I really would like to know this, as well as get a rating of how good my videos are. You can check out my channel here - http://www.youtube.com/user/sainvideoz I'm just starting off with this, but I definitely hope to get more subscribers. Criticism on what can be improved would be lovely. (: |

Eh, only watch certain videos in certain circumstances. I usually listen to music on it, or Rowan Atkinson. |

What I don't understand is how people have enough usage to constantly watch YouTube videos or download movies etc. Unlimited usage why would ISP even offer that seems like you could get more money when customers meet maximum download and are billed. I know bell does not have unlimited download plans not sure about others. I always here about people download and watching movies and always wonder if they are paying for them just paying their ISP and not the movie makers. |

Well on my current Rogers plan, we have a 60 GB a month plan (which I think may have been bumped up to 80 or something). We never get close to it because we don't download movies and stuff, but my friends who have the same plan have gone over many times and they just pay for it. However, Rogers is starting to crack down on these people because they monitor the connections of them and send them emails about copyright infringement. My friend got one and they said they would disconnect his internet if he doesn't stop. |

And that's because I think he looks pretty sexed in that picture. ![]() Also by the way I was referring to user-generated videos not copyrighted film/music. |

Oh, in that case, they would just pay the difference. Although, I've never heard of anyone going over the limit purely from Youtube and other user-generated, non-copyrighted material. |

Youtube is universal so you can search for almost anything, including movies. I find it a lifesaver in some ways (ex: walkthroughs, trailers, etc.) Offtopic: @ andrew. (and maybe everyone): My father is used to big corporations 'asking for money'. Recently, my father accidentally locked my phone when he pressed the wrong button. He then talked with a Rogers (our service provider) service person and asked for it to be unlocked. They wouldn't unlock it for him. Then there were threats to leave the company, etc. In the end, our phones were unlocked. And it is not just Rogers asking for money. My father dumped Bell because of the lack of service. I'm not sure if I'm explaining myself correctly so I'll put it blandly: The large corporations don't care when you are with them, but when you leave the corporation, they will call you like crazy, bribing you with discounts. And if you decide to go back, it goes in a loop again. |

I have. I haven't downloaded anything except freeware software like CCleaner in years. And I go over the limit every month. But I have a 20/25 GB limit. |

But then you are downloaded them every time you want to listen to them. And you have to wait for every song. If your listening to the same songs you could download the video then use a local directory and video as your music player? |

![]() So you must be the gay one in the videos on your channel. Anyhow (sorry to say this) I just find your videos to be just another average vlog. No interest in them. (though I managed to sit through two of them) One thing you can do however for easy improvement is sex up your page. Take mine for example: http://www.youtube.com/user/death020899 I only really use Youtube to listen to music. As I don't have an iPod (I use a CD player, I'm an audiophile), I generally don't download songs unless I really want it, and don't have the CD (and not planning on getting it either). Though on occasion I do download music videos to upload on my (Christian) Metal blog. |

Same here, the only reason I have to go onto Youtube is to find songs I want to listen to. I'm sure there are some good videos, but I don't want to go through all the chaff just to get to them. Also the interface throws me off a bit. |

Ewwwwww. 10 min videos broken into parts... Ewwwwww. If I do stream a show (which isn't often anymore), I usually go to Megavideo. The worse thing I've seen is people watching whole movies on it broken into 10 parts *shudder*. I mainly only use Youtube to listen to new artist/songs, and to get MP3s of lesser known songs/trance mixes. |

I agreed with what the person said but what I meant is I watch that user-generated content such as smosh or nigahiga or sxephil. They're really entertaining to me, and I watch them a lot more than I watch TV. |

Oh I got'cha now. I thought he might'a been talking about those who might watch Cable TV on the computer, and even choose Youtube of all places. Anyways, I liked the timelapse effect on your video, though your views/rants were generic like most of the other stuff on YT. I quit when you started talking about formsprings... whatever they are. |

Ask Swifty and Fluffee Talks are good for some cheap laughs as long as you don't watch too much at once. Don't remember what it's called, but there's a channel where they microwave all sorts of shit, and that's pretty entertaining. Kinda like 'Will it blend' (also awesome) but with a microwave. |
