Most programs are designed with a learning curve in mind. Some would argue that jumping ahead of that curve could set you on a wrong path. Get in the habit of challenging yourself, and getting your work done, and you should do well. |

I know it was tounge-in-cheek, but that's exactly the wrong attitude. You will be tested on what is taught in class, not what you may learn on your own. Just go to class and do the work, like Dan says, and you'll be fine. |

How well do you know your own learning style? For example, do you prefer visual or verbal? How well are you with abstract ideas? Solving riddles or puzzles? Those would be some ideas as learning, being critical and analytical are skills that you'll likely require that are probably worthwhile to develop now. |
