Every time I go to watch any streaming video, the browser becomes non responsive and crashes. Any idea as to what is causing this. (it is happening in both IE and FF) |

Sounds like a problem in flash. Try re?nstalling it. |

I disabled all of my plug-ins and re-enabled them one by one and now it appears to be working. THANKYOU WINDOWS FOR MORE UNCONVENTIONAL SOLUTIONS TO RANDOM PROBLEMS. |

If you hate Windows so much, and you hate Mac, why don't you give Linux another go? I mean, the Flash is definitely more buggy on there, but everything else is better IMO. |

I have a brand-new i7 with 4 monitors running Win7, and a little budget laptop running 9.10, and when I'm sitting at my desk with both in front of me, I'm on the laptop about 90% of the time. (The rest is spent on MW2). It may have it's problems, but Linux/Ubuntu/9.10 is just so much more enjoyable. |

The thing about PC gaming though is that devs are putting less and less features in PC games to distinguish them from their console counterparts. For instance, take MW2, it has no server list, no mods, nothing extra. You may as well play on PS3/360. I would personally buy a cheap PC and a PS3. |

Yeah, but mods aren't hacks, and they generally improve the playability of a game. Take CS:S for instance, I wouldn't still be playing the game if gun game or zombie mod didn't exist. Yes, the original game was fun, but it gets boring after a while, so it's nice when new game types come up. The only way of people to implement this is by modding the game/server. |

I highly doubt the addons crashing Firefox has anything to do with Window. Perhaps you updated Firefox which broke addon compatibility which caused the crashes, in which case it is your fault for not updating the addons. |

Duh I understand that, but along with this happening. other programs were doing the same thing, which I uninstalled and reinstalled which fixed the problem, but it didn't work with FF. |
