I use Firefox which is my favourite browser. Firefox is one of the leading internet browsers I have seen. I have used almost all of the other browsers, except chrome, and I have always been coming back to Firefox. It is very user friendly and provides a lot of user customization. Like a recent update, Firefox 3.6, you can change the theme of the browser to one of 3,000 different templates. Talk about customization! It is leading with speed as well. Probably the fastest one out there. Internet explorer is just a default browser and should be thrown to the side. |

I use Google Chrome browser. I like the ability to search by typing the search subject in the address bar. I find it is quite fast as well (comparable to Firefox). |

Chrome. I used to use Firefox but it kept crashing randomly. Especially when I used any sort of search engine. I like the interface, I haven't had any problems with it crashing or anything yet though. I have to use Internet explorer though sometimes because of my SQL class. |

Safari on OS X (Safari on Windows is mediocre). Because it's fast as balls, more standards compliant than any other browser, minimal UI, and the developer tools are top notch (better and more stable than FF+FireBug). Edit: links |

You can do this with Firefox |

Firefox also has the extra search bar in it, and has search suggestions (with the Google plugin at least). 1-click favouriting is nice, and the default UI is sleek and easy to use. |

It's a love hate relationship that toggles between Chrome and Firefox. It's usually whatever I pin to the taskbar first when I reformat or whichever I set up extensions to first. Right now it's FF. |

Did the Firefox community decide against it? This is the first time I am hearing about it, but it seems to me to be like the various flavours of Linux doing things differently but essentially being the same thing. |

On my computer, google chrome is significantly faster than firefox. But I still prefer firefox because I have gotten used to the settings. I have 4 rows of bookmark on firefox, and it only takes 1 click to get to the site I want, whereas google chrome only allow 1 row of bookmark. I also can't get used to the way google chrome put the tabs on the very top of window, it's hard to drag windows that way. |

I use Chrome (and FireFox for the odd websites that do not allow access to the site using Safari, and also recognize Chrome as Safari). Chrome is fast, simple, compact and tabbed browsing feature is the best, in my opinion, amongst all browsers. Using Chrome I am able to drag a tab and place in a new window without installing additional add-ons. This feature is really useful combined with Windows 7 when you want to view two webpages side-by-side. All you have to do is drag a tab off of the tab bar to create a new window, and than move the windows to fill equal halves of the screen. With enough screen width you can watch a video and browse the web without switching between tabs, and than latter combine the two windows easily without copying links (or anything similar). Edit: Adding folders to your bookmarks tab to organize similar bookmarks (such as programming tutorials, education, most used, etc.) would reduce the amount of space needed to hold your bookmarks. |

You can find out more about it here: http://www.gnu.org/software/gnuzilla/ and there is a wiki page on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNU_IceCat It's more about free software then anything else. |
