my c drive has 75 gb capacity and it was 99% full. ![]() ![]() running vista btw. |

Memory is usually referring to RAM I remember reading something about how Vista used 25% of your total drive capacity for Restore Points. This can be changed though. |

It could be a virus or other malice, or it could be that Windows decided that it was important to have all of the resident data at the time of failure saved (i.e. saving everything in RAM to the HDD). I don't know whether it actually does that, but I wouldn't put it beyond Microsoft. Just clear it out. |

If your computer crashes it updates the ERROR log and/or the BOOTEX log. So if you crash constantly then possible you have a 50 gb worth of unneeded text. My guess. |
