Generally how long is the break between the end of a school term and the start of work? And, how many weeks do people actually spend in coop? |

It's up to you to negotiate your start/end dates with your employer. There's a minimum amount of time that you must work to receive a credit, but it's short enough that it shouldn't ever be an issue. It seems reasonable to leave yourself a week in between terms. |

The length of the break also depends on the timing of your last exam. The "break" between Winter and Spring terms can be as short as one weekend. |

I've done that. Moved between cities too! Ouch, mine always end up being a week or more - I tend to get lucky enough to have all of mine early. |

I met someone last week who claimed to finish writing his exam at 9pm. Driving down to Toronto to catch the flight to Vancouver and start work the next morning. |
