I was browsing the web and stumbled upon this: http://www.engadget.com/2007/01/23/how-to-make-a-wii-laptop-part-1/ (part 1) http://www.engadget.com/2007/01/31/how-to-make-a-wii-laptop-part-2/ (part 2) http://www.engadget.com/2007/02/06/how-to-make-a-wii-laptop-part-3-the-final-installment/ (part 3) I think it's very well done, although I would have stuck it in a laptop case, to make it thinner & have a bigger screen. Plus you wouldn't have to make your own case, just mod an existing one. I'd love to make one of these when the Wii 2 is released (and if I had the necessary skills). |

I have a fealing it would have alot of heating issues on warm days. Just from simple mods i have done on one of my own Wii's, i have noticed big tempature increases form simply adding a few small pices inside. Also i have hured peoleop having overheating issues with unmoded Wiis and this aucataly criples the heat sink as well as the air flow threw the case. Other then that it is rather cool (tho they do sell screens that will snap onto your wii for road trips). |

Cool! not particularly useful, but still cool. |

Not useful? It's a far more entertaining hand-held (table-held?) gaming system. A Wii itself isn't that useful. An Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 isn't that useful. A Wii laptop is no less or more useful than any of these. |
