Finally my laptop is set up and running.
One problem though, it runs vista and one game i really enjoy doesn't want to run on it at all (Xpand Rally). It tells me that it wants to run on xp.
So, after reading the error message i made the program compatible with xp. (right click-compatibility-choose the OS) It still didn't like it so i went to another one it said the game needed to be run on. (2003 server)

This time i have a new error message
It is impossible to run Xpand Rally in [something like] compatible mode.

is there a way to make the game run?...or am i screwed?

yes but you guys are probaly not in class kinda typing the essages behind the teachers back....In class if you are "off task" or not being on the "education approved" websitesyou are kicked off and get a nice 30 minuite detention even if you are done all of your work.

Well that wasn't so hard. 5th result contains information about the draconian StarForce protection that it uses.
