hey guys, I am wondering whether or not, I should take data management in grd 12. here are the requirements for software engineering at UW * Advanced Functions * Calculus and Vectors * Chemistry * English (ENG4U) * Physics it is not required, but will data management help as math skills in engineering? |

Yes, I would take it if I were you, it will probably prove useful for any statistics courses and more likely linear algebra. |

I'd take the class anyways. I took it as a summer course, and had a teacher who was more of a math geek than a teacher, so it made it more amusing than usual, I guess. Either way, it will prepare you for any statistics courses and you'll have some experience with combinatorics and what not. |

Yes take it. It may not be in your top 6 but it might help you with other things in high school/uni/life. I didn't do well in the course but thats because I didnt try. This year I worked hard for advanced functions and im getting 93 - class high ![]() ![]() ![]() |
