I accidently deleted service pack 2 from my computer...and i am trying to reinstall it but i keep getting this error saying
Cannot read or write into database.
when the setup is creating a restore point.
please help

Try turning off system restore. Howto turn off System Restore |

I always recommend this : Backup any existing data and prepare to have to format your HDD |
