yeah, Laughing If sympatico didnt cancel bandwidth capping, your bill will be HUGE (they used to charger per 100MB) Laughing

yea, unless ur using the crappiest plan they have for dsl (which is 2GB max) then it's unlimited ^_^

that test only wroks right for syspiaco users and even if you are it is messed up. try dslreports for a real speed rating. i have acualy found that dsl has many advatges over cabel (i thik thats what rogers usess).


below is my speed for basick sypactio dsl wich is being devied by my netwrok for 3 computers and is also being put over wireless to the lap i tested it on.

pft... if you want a good service look at something like cuic.ca or igs.net. I had a 3mbit connection from igs at home for about the same as what rogers and bell charge for their 1.2mbit or whatever it is they have ... but that's only because I subscribed when they had some deal on where if you subscribe before some date you get it for cheaper

but now I'm in residence and they give us a kind of crappy internet connection Sad it's ok some times ... but during the day during the week it kinda sucks because they cap it so that the people at the school get all the bandwidth Sad
