Clayton and I are both in ottawa for school and since beer is good and I work at a great place to drink, we'll be at the Nepean Sailing Club Tuesday evening. Anyone else interested? It would probably be possible to change the location, but unless you got cheap beer elsewhere... |

I look forward to the next meet. I'll do my best to make a showing. Just don't organize things for the first Tuesday of any given month. That's OCLUG meeting day, and I plan on being a speaker for various topics until the crowd gets sick of me and punts me out. Oct 7 is up next, and I'm signing up to speak again ... ReST. Or do plan for the Tuesday ... I'm old and I gave up drinking Jan 1, 1992 (4:30 am ish), fast approaching 150,000 booze free hours. (I'll add - not to look like too much of a fuddy duddy - I spend way too many hours hanging out at the Dominion Tavern in the Market - cool bar - cool people - on the surface it's a dive, but it isn't - Jet black tar coffee, mmmmm). If you ever go, drop the name Bluey and one of the bar tenders will probably laugh (and then ban you for knowing an idiot).

Ahh we have some people in Ottawa! I've been co-oping at RIM in Kanata and I'm usually going downtown every weekend with a bunch of people I've met over the last 4 months. I end my term in december but it'd be nice to get together with some people I've been posting with (not recently) over the last few years! |
