Super Mario Battle

This is my attempt at making a multiplayer Mario game. The object of the game is to eliminate the other player's lives by stomping on his head. As you can see, this game was based on Super Mario War. It's open-source so you can make any changes and even use parts of the game in your own program/game, but just make sure to put my name (andrew) in the credits Wink.

The game is fully customizable, meaning that you can make your own levels and skins. I have readme files in there if you want to do that, or you can PM me for more info on it. The game also features AI, but it's very crappy due to the fact that it's my first time doing AI. Also, I am going to release a new version soon (but after exams) which will have a whole bunch of new features.

Anyways, enjoy!

Pretty good! I would suggest making the game automatically return to the menu when a player wins. I must say, it is better than I can do (as of now). I think you should slow the AI down a teensy bit.

What do you mean slow the AI down a bit? Do you mean speed or intelligence (because it's pretty basic and dumb right now)?

This reminds me of this game. It was really fun for its day.

I remember that game...

I meant slow down the speed.

Perhaps you have a slow computer and thus for you it runs fine, or perhaps you meant it this way.

meh, the speed was ok.
I am running a fast machine too

(I recently bought a 500Gb external hard drive,
and put all my music and files on that, - so now my machine runs fast again! Smile)

I'm not going to lie, this is honestly the most fun, and addicting multiplayer Mario game I have ever played programmed by Turing.

Great work!

I am working on a similar-ish game and I am building my own maps right now. I am intriged by the way you defined the ground. Also you might want to use Time.DelaySinceLast() instead of delay to keep the framerate consistent.

Great game well done.
One problem with AI
If you go at the ends of the screen you can trick the compter and get him to keep runnig back and forth also yea the speed is too fast.
Good game

It's been a while since I've even looked at this. I believe that the ZIP file in the original post has the proper directory structure because I remember unzipping it on random computers and playing it.

Yeah the ZIP works, I played with it a couple days ago. Its pretty sweet, definetly the best Turing program I've seen before!
