Could you rephrase the question? I am confused as to what exactly you are trying to accomplish. You want to select data from a MySQL database and display it based upon user input? |

Er...The last post was a more than a month ago, I'm sure either the problem was solved or Navin gave up. I assume by his measly post count of 1 that he hasn't gone back to the site since then, like many members of this site. |

Hi, I have been playing around making websites with php, and i want to create a mysql database. Ive got a book that tells me how to do it but it doesnt actually tell me how to connect to my server. Iv registered web space that allows mysql databases, but how to I connect to it through a command prompt on my windows machine? Is there any software I have to install? Thanks for any help. |
