Oooh, that's... surprisingly attractive to think about.. But If I go by the theory I developed, how would you buy the reversal of the entropical flow of the universe? |

Some company was making a 100GB flash drive (thumbsize), so put a few thousand of those together, and awa you go, the robots... well thats a different story. |

Well futtuershop sells exteranl 1TB drivers for around $300. The real issue is the bandwith and geting a backbone connection. And renting the space. |

I don't think I've owned anyone with my car, it's just a car... it's not like I'm the only one who owns a car either. I'd build a cross country fiber network - and start investing in fiber-to-the-home in downtown cores but as a seperate endevour that happens to buy bandwidth from the nationwide network. |

I'd used your imganry fiber network as one of the many uplinks in my imganry data center. ![]() Tho a fiber network that garuinteses neutrality and anamaity would be adamzing, epstaly if all the traffic was encrypted so even the USA could not get tap into it illgealy. |

That's why I figure there has to be a good market for a neutral cross-country backbone. You'd get the ISPs who don't want to traffic shape, and if you price it right you could be very competitive with bell and rogers. |

While at it, throw a bunch of cellular towers on top of that backbone. I want a wireless provider in Canada that doesn't suck. Since there's no competition, the best (actually "the only") deal you get for data is "unlimited" Facebook and a rate of $0.05 / KB. Oh, and it has to be an "authorized" device. Compare that to the States, where for $99 you get true unlimited everything (data, text, voice call, video call). You know, a rate where you're significantly better off than in Canada, after just 2 MB of data (which is you know... just a couple of visits to Google Maps). |
