anyone planning on writing the AP Computer Science this year (either the A or the B one)??? I heard that it is written in Java, and by looking at the past papers, its just basically finishing classes that accomplish certain tasks. |

The Advanced Placement tests are at the university-level, so if you perform well on them, the test can count as a credit in university. However, the only Canadian school to accept AP credits is Toronto. To register, you either talk to your school if they offer it, or you sign up at College Board (the guys who offer it). However, you were suppose to register by March 15th, so it's already too late... |

FYI, CS AP AB is one of the four exams that are going away in the latest AP revision... the other three being Italian, Latin literature, and French literature. --PR |

I'm not a huge AP fan, but this is just false. A number of Canadian schools honour AP. Last summer Waterloo established their AP policy, and they were one of the few who didn't already have a policy. |

A few of my buddys wrote the AP test not too long ago. They wrote it in Turing. Java is just easier to use for it. And they did it for Waterloo University |

Waterloo doesn't accept AP CS. They are accepting AP Calculus now. The AP CS tests use Java. You cannot write them in Turing. |
