Recently there was a halo v.s Mario game posted. this game used sprites from my prevous Nothing Stops the chief game. Since the Halo vs mario was... um ... well it didn't do animated sprites justice. It was a neat idea it just didn't work out... anyway i wanted to make a two player shooting game so i decided to reuse my halo sprites from Nothing Stops the Cheif. here it is there are a few user interface issues (like no menus or playing again) but i think it worked out well |

Pretty good. A friend of mine is making halo 2d ^_^ With campaign mode!! Hey, can you send me the movement procedures? I'm making a game of my own where you go around and kill monsters, but i need something to look at to make it smooth. |

yeah the movment code is pretty messed up, i butchered through it to get it to "work" but it's not very efeicent, i'm in the process of converting it into a modual (to be used for other games probably), aside from movement code, you may have a hard time with AI, look at the help forums there is some good stuff there |

its pretty fun, but as said above the movement is pretty lame, but don't let the user to go out of the screen |

Yeah the going off screen glitch is kinda stupid. I pretty much just made this to prove a point to a friend of mine on code reuse. This game uses the same "engine" i used for my Nothing Stops the chief game. It's pretty flexable I also used the same engine for that star wars game (with a few mods for AI and lightsaber actions) i should post the basic algorthm for it sometime |
