I started C++ a couple of days back, and i needed some sites or any help people could give me. As for experience, i have programmed with turing for the last few months (and i need help with the syntax and anything that i need to know) any help is really appreciated |

Well, there is wtd's "Translations from Turing," which may help a little. But I suggest you buy a book, it will be much better than any online tutorials you can find. Accelerated C++, Deitel C++: How to Program and Beginning C++ Game Programming are all very good books to learn from. I recommend the book C++ From the Ground Up, i found it to be a great book, its for people who have had no experience in programming and wish to learn C++. Also I wouldn't recommend online tutorials as some of them teach you how to do C Style coding vs C++. On another note since you only have a Turing background I recommend learning Haskell. I started learning it and its a really great language. |
