Heres my version of Advance Wars (grade 12 final project) made in Turing, hence, TURING WARS!! Controls are pretty simple, its all done by clicking on stuff. You can figure it out. I noticed when posting games as .exe the fonts change, so you get maxrow errors etc. so I commented out some puts, so you wont be able to see how much units cost (if you've played before you'd already know). Let me know if you find any other bugs. I made it in Turing 3.1.1a, so dont expect any "fancy graphics", and all the pics are .bmps. The save/load game doesn't seem to work with the .exe either... oh well, you can still enjoy versus mode, which for 2 players. Also, if you can figure out the code, you can design your own maps/COs by editing my text files. Have fun! |

Other than the fact that I can't get it too work (I get the "Row exceeds maxrow" error) this seems like a great program! Advance Wars is one of my favourite games, and this looks a worthy rendition of the original. It's a shame that it doesn't work, though. |

ya i thought that might be a problem, i'll just re submitt a verison with all puts completely eliminated, although that will make it a lot harder to understand --edit-- Here is another one that has no puts (except for funds which i thought was necessary). Hope this works |

It is really great but with out the puts, there is not info on what i am picking when i play, but still a great game, i did not get into it(i liked fire emblem better, LOL), so good job. |

Well done, however, as mentioned above, it's very hard to play when you don't have any instructions, some improvement in that area would be an excellent idea. Offtopic: Fire Emblem is king. Especially when we begin speaking of Radiant Dawn |
