This is my first submission on this site, but I have been programming in Turing for a couple years now. I'm a grade 12 level programmer and I made this tile based (arcade style) game for my computer science ISU. This game is based on an older game called Jetpack, but my version has quite a few differences... I made all the graphics myself, some of them i'm not so proud of, but whatever. Oh, and you can just ignore the BONUS option... the two 'games' in there were just things to demonstrate linked lists and recursive functions. Those are only there because it was required for the assignment. For game instructions, view the read me. Hope you guys like it, i've had quite a few friends go nuts over this game because it gets addicting. lol, it requires a bit of skill, so don't get discouraged at first, just work at it, like any game. I recently made a few changes to my ProxyClass, so if you find anything wrong with hit detection, or tile detection, that could be why. ENJOY! |

+10 bits ! (I don't know what they are for) This is the best Turing game I've seen recently. Too hard. and you can die even if you are still slightly away from the enemy. |

@ Fishtastic: Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. Yes I realize the game is hard, but I'm fairly certain the hit detection is nearly perfect, but I know there's always room for improvement. I'll look into it. @ momop: You have to extract the contents of the .rar archive first, otherwise, yes, this will happen. Opening the .rar and executing the .exe without extraction will *not* work. |
