hey everyone.
im only grade 9 and they gave me grade 10 TIK class,and we're doing TURING!
i realy dont know anything about it , and i got my important last PROJECT!!!
Now im going to tell you the instruction sheet that the teacher gave me!

TIK FINAL PROJECT

This project involves the use of Turing to produce an animated program. The more complex your program,the better the mark.All normal marking guidelines for programs apply.

Planning is a must and you must hand in a plan for your design: due on FRIDAY....(ITS THIS FRIDAY)

Possible ideas:

A cannon shooting a ball +??????
A stick person walking and falling+ ??????
A box which drops on something and crushes ir + ??????
Shooting stars which explode on hitting something (a rocket?)

There are many, many possiblities - use your imagination!

Loops are essential but the more Turing tools you use (appropriately) in your project, the better.

like my friendz did something like:
a car is moving.
a guy throw a basketball into the net.
a guy jump with snow board.

i think it should be easy for you guyz!

i agree with Vilament...

If your teacher came on, i bet he/she would not be impressed.

As well, it does not make sense to ask someone to plan and write a whole program...

Most of us are students, and WE HAVE WORK TOO!!
The last thing we want to do is do someone else's work.

If you want a good mark, you should:

1) Not procrastinate (which im sure you did, seeing how it is due on the 11th)

2)Try do do things by yourself. Life is more satisfying when you accomplish something.

There are plenty of tutorials for these things, if you are unsure, then look it up, or base your project aroudn what you were taught.

i am in grade 9, and we just learned that in turing...

it is simple: Just import a picture from a program onto turing, then just make that picture a variable, and give the commands you would if you were moving a regular shape( a box, for example)

It's not that the class is hard, it is that either you did not grasp it, or didn't ask. And plus, your timing for your project is horrible, should of been done way before.

Perhaps I am being stupid, but I always had difficulty accepting sanctimonious advice which teaches trite motives and empty assertions about life from people who are as qualified as me to give them; that is, not at all.

Draw the Bullet as a for loop, you can draw and oval first, then the box over top to make it look like a bullet.

Afterwards draw your gun.

You will need to draw the bullet first, because you want it under the gun to make the effect of it coming out, then build your gun on top of the bullet.

For loop for bullet movement and drawing, and a basic drawing of boxes and lines to make the gun.

Well, if your going to shoot it forward if the gun is facing to the right, then your x values will be going in a positive direction, increasing. To make it go left, decrease your x values and make sure the bullet is re-drawn facing that direction.

To go up, increase the y values, and to go down decrease the y values.

To bounce it off the wall, you will need collision.

Unfortunately, you created the situation yourself. The best I think you can do is to start learning the Turing which you seem to have ignored for a semester. Procrastination and apathy have led me to similar ends in the past, and I still haven't learned responsibility. i suggest that tomorrow you go in early and ask your teacher for help. They will be more than happy to help you. It is not a injustice that you were seeded in the Grade 10 class. I have been through both and I know that they are on similar pages when it comes to lack of difficulty. As for what you should do tonight, burn the midnight oil with your program. Programming will come to you once you realize the importance of passing integers as arguments to predefined functions in Turing and the use of coordinates to control objects.

Shakin cookie: It's not necessarily that I think you are consciously choosing to be insincere, it's that I think that practices such as the ones I mentioned (falsely claiming to know what makes life better for a person) denote a smug and preachy attitude which I associate commonly with vanity and lack of real knowledge. It's kind of like when people tell you they're honest, it's a good bet that they aren't. When people look to eagerly to exhibit their knowledge, it is a sign that they are not there to help, but to show themselves off.

i know your right zampano , but you know i didnt choose to take this course the chose for me....and when i went to office and i asked them im ganna drop this course they told me thats wut u chose and its too late now to drop it...i can do my other projects easly without gettin helpo but for TIK i realy cant...and they didnt teach from the beggining that maybe i learn something......so i couldnt do anything,,,,and i just copy my classmates!
but this project is the finla and the important project which if i give it to him its ganna be so GOOD!

This topic saddens me. You procrastinated and you did not give a damn about the course. You created this situation for yourself and now you hope someone will help you out.
But still, I dought that anyone anyone would help you know, because you just admitted to cheating of your classmates. Do you honestly think your teacher won't see this? or know that you didn't make that?.

Also on a side note, it's not possible for the schools to make you take a course.

If you haven't cared about the case, that's your fault. I haven't met a single person who's cared about helping someone who gets themselves in trouble.

Also, even if you did get in to Grade 10 programming, you should have asked your teacher for help rather then not caring.

you gotta come early. it's tooken me 2 days, and people here's prabably helped me get through 1/3 of my part. that's why you search it early, after the first day we got the assignment, me and my friend were searching for help sites like MAD.

then i couldn't sign up because i couldn't see the confirmation code, so i had to find a way to sign up. things aren't easy nor free in this world.

well, ofcourse i got some help. you just gotta have some idea of what your doing, and it takes time.
